Aaaaaaaannnnd the same crap is still happening.  I give up for now.  I need a new hobby.

Fixed… for now.

I’m crossing my fingers, but I think I may have found a fix for my weird black lines and crashing.  I came across this post on the official site, and the original poster verified that we’re having the same problem.  After adjusting the speed of my GPU fan, I can play again!  I haven’t tried putting my CC back in again, other than a few outfits and hairstyles.  I might wait for the patch to come out before I bother.

Grrr…

So I loaded up the game without any CC tonight, just to see if that would have any effect on the problems I’ve been having since installing BV.

Umm, no.

Arturo Hernandez is having one heck of a day.

His lovely wife, Christy (Leelaporn) Hernandez, is feeling no better.

Even their house is falling apart.

And soon it looks like this.

%$@*! game.  I love you and I hate you, EA.

Patch, please?

This (and a lot of other stuff) has been happening since I installed Bon Voyage.  Ugh.  I hope there’s a big, BIG patch coming soon.  Abhijeet Deppiesse’s mistress, Brenna McDuff, is in a world of hurt.

4.2 Jamie-Lynn Moves On

Young widow Jamie-Lynn rebounded quickly from the death of her husband, Lee.

Very quickly.

The new object of her affection was actually an old flame, Martin Ruben.

I guess she didn’t mind the ears.  Or the attitude.  (I don’t know what it was about Martin Ruben, but I loathed him.)

While Jamie-Lynn was busy who–, ummm, dating around, most of the childcare responsibilities were left to grandpa Remington.

He was happy to help take care of his little princess, Lindsey.

Lindsey grew into a cute toddler.

Occasionally her mother even spent a little time with her.

But sometimes it seemed like nobody was watching the kid…

Here we are at the start of the 4th generation, and as always happens to me around this point, the lot started getting glitchy.  (With the Ver Bannts, it was late in the 3rd generation, I guess.  I didn’t mind it so much then, because I built a new house that I liked much better than the hodgepodge they’d had.  This time, though, I’d already built the house that I wanted!  Grrr.)  I had problems saving, Jamie-Lynn couldn’t invite her fiance to move in (though it turns out that’s just a problem with Martin), etc.

Martin seemed less than thrilled when Jamie-Lynn announced that she was expecting.

Girl, big nasty fights on the lawn with your babydaddy are just not classy.

After he had time to cool down, Jamie-Lynn brought up the subject of marriage.

Martin refused to move in, though.  (Actually, he refused to move in over and over and over again, and it was really, really irritating, and that’s probably why I hate him.)

So Jamie-Lynn decided to make a fresh start.  She sold the Lillard family estate and bought a smaller house on the other end of time.

NOTE:  The house is actually a download by Neveah222 from MTS2.  You can find it here

Two baby girls were born soon after the move, and the twins were called Rachael (shown here with sourpuss Martin, who occasionally stopped by to eat free food and ignore his kids) and Rebecca (held by Jamie-Lynn).

(Yeah, this sort of graphics quality was really getting on my nerves, too.)

At this point Jamie-Lynn was smart enough to kick Martin to the curb once and for all.  She decided to stop worrying about her love life and concentrate on raising her three girls… but doesn’t everyone say that love finds you when you stop looking for it?
